One of the most difficult challenges facing a family with a child with special needs is transitioning their loved one out of school and in to real world day to day activities. Selecting a program that is suited to your child’s needs and one that fits with your family’s schedule can be tricky. It's important to know how these programs are funded, what the application process is and when to get started looking at your options. We have invited the presenters to share an overview of their respective programs to give you an idea on what’s available and when it’s time to get started. We will also guide you through how to apply for the funding to pay for these services.
This meeting will be important for parents of children with disabilities of all ages. This is also an important meeting for grandparents raising grandchildren with disabilities. Our meeting will NOT be held at our office location. This will be a meeting held via Zoom.d.
These meetings are provided free of charge to the public to educate and encourage families and advocates. By joining ExOps, your support keeps you informed on events like this and helps support our mission in the community.
